Your willingness to give your time makes an incredible difference, and we are so grateful for your support. We recently learned that Nose Creek School raised over $87,000 through their event—an amazing result—and we are hopeful that our opportunity will bring in a similar amount. Every hour you are contributing is truly invaluable and will have a meaningful impact on our students for the next three years. Thank you again for your generosity, commitment, and support of our school community—we couldn’t do this without you!

Dear families, 

We hope you had a great week! Here is a highlight of our learning:

Literacy / Writing
This week in writing, we were finishing our story writing pieces and focusing on editing, including checking for complete sentences, punctuation, and spelling to improve clarity and make our writing easier to read.

Math
Students are continuing to review a variety of math concepts based on their individual learning needs and completing the zoo projects.

Social Studies

We have started a new unit on Citizenship. Students are learning about quality of life and volunteering, and how safe, healthy, and happy communities are created. They are also exploring how their actions affect others and how people contribute to their communities through volunteering.

Art
In art, students had a lot of fun exploring emotions through creativity! Inspired by the artist Edvard Munch, they reimagined The Scream and transformed it into cheerful, happy faces. Students enjoyed experimenting with warm and cool colors to show different feelings and moods, making each artwork  full of personality.
