June22-26 Last Week of School!

Hello parents,

It has been a privilege to be part of each student's growth and learning this year. I wish everyone a safe, happy, and restful summer filled with wonderful memories. To those moving on to new schools and new adventures, I wish you every success and a smooth transition. Keep learning, growing, and believing in yourselves!

Here are some highlights from our final week of school:

Field study
We wrapped up the school year with Scream and Run, an Indigenous game that brought lots of laughter and excitement from our class on our last day!

Sit spot: Connecting with Nature
Students enjoyed quiet reflection and a nature interview, imagining life from a nature’s perspective. Students asked, “What is it like to be standing here alone for years, watching the comings and goings?” and "Where would you go if you could go anywhere?" There're many thoughtful questions that showed curiosity and connection with nature.

Baking with the Kindergarten buddies!
This week was filled with fun community-building activities! Our students enjoyed spending time with their Kindergarten buddies baking Bannock, sharing our learning with our Grade 2 friends, and everyone had a fantastic time during our school Play Day. It was wonderful to see students interacting, making new connections, and building friendships across different grade levels.

Grade 2 Visit: Learning from Big Buddies
Our Grade 3 students shared their learning from the year and offered advice to our Grade 2 students, creating a meaningful big buddy connection.
