Have a great weekend!! |
Dear families,
We hope you had a wonderful week! Here are some highlights of our learning:
Father’s Day Art Project:
Happy Father’s Day! We hope you’ve received your special gift by now. The students put so much effort into creating them and had a lot of fun along the way. Here are some photos of their work in progress for your memories.
Science
Students used the Code & Go Robot Mouse to explore basic coding skills, including sequencing and creating simple algorithms to guide the mouse to the cheese. They also practiced problem-solving by fixing mistakes and developed their understanding of direction and space. Literacy/Writing:
This is our last week of literacy centers. Students also wrote letters to our future Grade 4 teachers, sharing our interests, preferred ways of learning, and strategies we use to regulate ourselves when feeling upset.
Math
Students participated in a scavenger hunt to review division word problems and continued practicing through engaging games.
Social
We held a “Charities Gallery Walk,” where students explored different causes and reflected on their learning.
Grade 4 Visit:
Students had the opportunity to learn what life is like in Grade 4. They asked thoughtful questions and enjoyed connecting with the Grade 4 students.
PE
Students had a great time being active and having fun!
